  • The Alessi Windblade

    AKA The Weight of Your Words:

    This cursed blade binds to the afflicted by coating their teeth. Beginning weightless, the blade adds 5% of the user’s body weight per spoken word. It remains weightless to the owner until the first word is spoken after it’s draw, applying the full weight in an instant. The weightlessness returns after a sufficient amount of Aether is used or drained from the blade.

    Additionally, every 100% added increases the intensity of spells cast on or through the blade, making this a formidable catalyst for powerful adepts.

  • Ikarus Band

    AKA The Giant’s Wing Ring

    Giant golden ring that belonged to Mijche, the earth elemental. This ring allowed the giant elemental to leap vast distances and to great heights by channeling aether.

    The ring draws an enormous amount of Aether, enough to lift a giant deity to the upper edges of the atmosphere. In it’s current form, the ring is covered in an stabilization device that pulls Aether from the wearer at a steady rate so as not to drain the Adept.

  • Warding beads

    Smooth round stones that cause aetherial interference when coming into contact with spells. The number of beads needed to repel a spell varies based on spell strength and bead type. When the beads repel spells, their color changes from an onyx black to a pale grey, indicating they are no longer actively warding spells. A common backup tool for Mages.

  • Diffuser Glove

    These gloves allow the aether to spread evenly over the caster’s body. For adepts that have trouble regulating their aether flow, these gloves are an essential tool to help master spells without causing serious injury to the caster. When coupled with warding beads, excess aether can recharge spent stones and allow the caster to increase their defenses without having to maintain a constant warding spell.

Cosmic threads that bind all life in the known universe. These roots spread from the Tree of Life, somewhere in a forgotten corner of the cosmos. The roots allow those with access the ability to travel anywhere in an instant, making it one of the most sought after abilities / resources to Celestials and Adepts alike.

On Gaia, an access node has opened to The Myriad Roots in the Belvaast region of Keltina. It is closely guarded by the Celestial Iset and her apprentice Ere.
